Overview

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federally-funded program that helps provide nutritious meals to children in a day care environment, and to eligible adults in adult care centers.

Who Qualifies?

Typically, meals are served to children age 12 years or younger. However, some programs are available to children up to the age of 18.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
