The Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS)

The Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program supports the early education system by providing scholarships to no-to-low income families to assist with the cost of child care; and to assist with providing access to high quality early learning experiences. CAPS is available to help allow family members to attend work, training or vocational education programs. Click here for more information about CAPS.

Application Process

When funding is available, child care is subsidized for low-income families who meet the program's requirements. You can apply for these benefits, check the status of your application or renew your benefits by visiting, Georgia Gateway. For additional information, please visit caps.decal.ga.gov.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for CAPS, the applicant and child(ren) must meet certain requirements, which can be found here: www.caps.decal.ga.gov.
