Our reflective, experienced, loving teachers have a passion for working with young children and their families AND model professionalism, collaboration and dedication. SOWJS faculty and administrators have college degrees in Education, Early Childhood, Psychology and Master's Degrees in Education, Social Work and Jewish Studies Education, and stay current in the latest research in the field. We attend professional development beyond the BFTS requirement, including attending regional and national conferences, accessing online trainings, visiting other schools with our progressive philosophy and through our own in-house faculty study groups.
