Monica Layne is the owner and operator. She believes that high quality childcare is the foundation for every child's growth and development. Her philosophy is that play, and a welcoming environment are important parts of learning. She believes classrooms should be designed for foster curiosity, safety, warmth and learning. She also believes that teachers should adapt to the way the child learns and not the other way around. Teachers from the Infant class to The GA Lottery Funded Pre-K create lesson plans and assess the children. Assessments are shared with parents twice annually. Due to low ratios and a total of over 120 years of experience of staff, we are able to know children on a deeper level and discern if they are behaving like themselves or not. Because of this vast knowledge, we can determine if developmental milestones are being met and help parents determine if more in-depth assessments are needed from doctors or therapist.
